The CUs Care Campaign Ramps Up
Tuesday, July 28, 2015 7:00 AM

Credit Unions CareThe Cornerstone Credit Union League has been receiving daily orders for all of the Credit Unions Care campaign materials. From El Paso to Little Rock and from Enid to Brownsville, Credit Unions Care is striking a happy chord with credit unions across the region.

Since the campaign kicked off in June 2015, Credit Union Resources VP of Marketing Vickey Morris reports the fulfillment of orders for 18,500 Children's Miracle Network/Credit Unions for Kids donation dogs, 979 CUs Care T-shirts, and 1,100 buttons. And that's just the beginning.

It's important to note that the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) and Credit Union for Kids connection to the campaign runs through Aug. 31. Cornerstone wants credit unions to embrace the CUs Care campaign in all of its community outreach programming, whether it’s community shred days, volunteering at a homeless shelter, CMN, Credit Unions for Kids, providing food for the disadvantaged, sports tournament volunteering, etc. The only limit is your imagination. By wearing your red Credit Unions Care T-shirts while performing services for and within the community, you increase visibility and awareness of credit unions everywhere.

Credit unions participating in the CMN portion of the Credit Unions Care campaign can rest assured that all funds raised will be donated to the local hospitals from where the contributions were obtained. In other words, all of the money you raise will go back into your particular communities.

Watch our progress! Cornerstone is tracking every contribution for CMN, so those credit unions raising the funds should send them at the end of each month, not just at the end of the campaign.

Please complete the fundraising submission form here, make your checks payable to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and mail to Cornerstone Credit Union League, Attn: Tamra Fairbrother, 4455 LBJ Freeway, Suite 1100, Farmers Branch, TX  75244.
