Wednesday, May 27, 2015 6:10 AM

The 2015 HR Conference, set to take place at the Skirvin Hilton in Oklahoma City on June 8-10, features Annett Bechtold from Digital Insurance presenting the "Affordable Care Act; Preparing for 2016:  What Every Credit Union Should Know."

Since 2010, the Affordable Care Act has been a source of change, confusion, and sometimes, frustration for credit union employers. Each year brings additional changes and new rules and interpretations. The new employer reporting rules promise many new changes for credit union employers in 2016. Learn how to best prepare for what's to come.

This interactive session includes:

  • Discussions of the marketplace changes on the horizon for 2016;
  • New requirements and limits for health plans;
  • The nitty-gritty of employer reporting and the recordkeeping solutions;
  • How to respond to subsidy inquiries from the exchanges;
  • Review and discussion of pending legislation and its potential effect on your benefits program.

As senior vice president of regulatory affairs and reform initiatives, Annette Bechtold is responsible for health care reform initiatives and strategic development at Digital Insurance. She advises, educates and supports Digital’s overall corporate tactics and client support issues.

Bechtold was named "Employee Benefit Adviser of the Year" by Employee Benefit Adviser magazine in 2010. A graduate of the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, Bechtold earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, specializing in insurance and risk management. She’s a certified insurance counselor licensed in life, health, property, and casualty and is currently vice president and programs and education chair of the Atlanta Association of Health Underwriters, secretary of the board for the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters, and serves on the legislative council for the National Association of Health Underwriters.
