The 3 T's of Success: Training, Technology, and Talent
Wednesday, May 13, 2015 6:00 AM

Scott Rose

The success of any organization in the 21st Century is predicated on the acquisition of affordable talent. But that's not all, says Alliance Federal Credit Union CEO Scott Rose. He says you must perpetually train that talent in addition to using updated technologies to deliver products and services—it's the only way to thrive in today’s market place.

The hotel room rate deadline is May 18. Act now to save money and capitalize on the opportunity to attend this highly entertaining and enlightening conference.

Join Rose as he presents at the 2015 HR Conference in Oklahoma City, June 8-10. In his talk, "The Three T's of Success:  Training, Technology, and Talent," Rose will reveal why the acquisition of talent is critical to the success of your organization, touching on these points:

  • Understand that talent is affordable.
  • Discover strategies for acquiring talent in a competitive marketplace.
  • Realize that training is fundamental to retaining talent and reducing turnover.
  • Appreciate training as a tangible expense, much like keeping the grounds.
  • Encounter training ideas that offer accountability to your team.
  • Recognize that sound technology channels can be personal.
  • Incorporate technology effectively and expand your footprint. CUSOs can do this.
  • Embrace technology, and you will interface with a whole new generation.

This session is timely because the reliance on traditional profit margins is becoming increasingly challenging. Rose says it's important to get good talent even if you’re a small credit union or have a small budget.

Rose is a leader, teacher, inspirational speaker, and creator of Ruddered for Success at His credit union career spans 28 years including more than 23 years as a CEO. Rose is currently CEO of Alliance Federal Credit Union in Lubbock, Texas, and a trustee on the board of the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation. He served terms on the board of directors of the Texas Credit Union League, Credit Union Resources, Inc., and as president of Tyler Area Credit Unions.

Rose is the winner of over 60 state and national marketing awards, and he speaks at state and national credit union conferences. Along with a bachelor's of business administration from Amberton University, Rose is a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE), Certified Financial Services Professional (CFSP), and a graduate of CUES’s CEO Institute as a Certified Chief Executive (CCE).
