Texas Trust CU Expands into Hurst
Friday, August 2, 2013 5:40 AM

Texas Trust CU - Hurst

Texas Trust CU just celebrated the opening of its 11th branch. Located in Hurst, Texas, this marks the credit union's first branch in that city, creating another convenient location to serve members.

Texas Trust renovated the 3,009-square-foot building, which it purchased earlier this year. The new branch offers a complete portfolio of services for both consumer and business financial needs, as well as four drive-through lanes and a drive-up ATM.

The branch, managed by Espy Taylor, employs 11, including seven recently new hired employees.

"The Hurst branch allows us to better serve members who live and work in the northern part of Tarrant County," said Jim Minge, president of Texas Trust CU. "This branch is part of our expansion plan toward our goal of becoming a $1 billion financial institution."

Minge added, "Besides adding branches, we are adding 11 new Texas Trust branded ATMs in high traffic areas, including one in Hurst, to give members easier access to their money. We've also rolled out a variety of new services, such as mobile deposit, which is another way we are making it easy for members to do business with us."
