Tomorrow, April 12, at 1:00 p.m., the House Investments and Financial Services Committee will hold a public hearing on the campus of the University of Dallas. The committee will hear invited testimony on:

  • The current status of cybersecurity in financial institutions, reviewing state and federal laws, and considering additional steps that need to be taken to make financial institutions in Texas more secure.

Ron Fox, president of Fort Worth City Credit Union, will testify before the committee about data security issues in credit unions and the new challenges as a result of the recent data breach of the Landry’s restaurant chain.
