Texas Bay Credit Union Opens Branch in League City
Friday, April 15, 2016 6:50 AM

Continuing to implement the credit union’s branching strategy, Texas Bay has opened a full-service retail branch in League City, Texas. The location, which opened Feb. 16, is in South Shore Harbor, a master-planned community nestled along the south shores of Clear Lake and home to thousands of families.

“The more people that join and use our products and services, the more we can return back value in terms of lower loan rates, higher deposit rates, low fees, and free services," explained Jesse Gutierrez, Texas Bay Credit Union’s president and CEO. "We are taking this credit union model to other communities throughout the Houston area, and we are thrilled to serve the South Shore community."

The new South Shore branch is located at 6640 South Shore Blvd., Suite 100, League City, TX 77573, and offers a wide range of amenities.

"The South Shore area matches our branch selection criteria, including a mix of existing and new roof tops," said Brian Ellis, vice president of regional branches and marketing at Texas Bay. "We see signs of continued growth in the area and look forward to being part of the community."

Operations at the HEB Bay Colony in-store branch moved to the new South Shore branch to provide more personal service. The new branch offers a spacious lobby with private financial service representative stations to provide individual member service.

Texas Bay Credit Union is a cooperative organization that has provided financial services to the Houston Metropolitan area since 1936. For more information, please visit TexasBayCU.org.
