TCUL's Innovation & Collaboration Committee Awards Dallas CEO with $500 Gift Card
Thursday, May 30, 2013 6:15 AM

Being an active participant pays off -- $500 in this case. Cheryl Gibson, president/CEO of AAFES FCU in Dallas, was recently selected the winner of a $500 VISA Gift Card by Texas Credit Union League's (League) Innovation & Collaboration Committee.

Gibson won the money by participating in the Committee’s recent Vendor Information Site contest by providing data regarding vendors the credit union utilizes, and as a result she was randomly selected as the winner.

During the past year, the League's Innovation & Collaboration Committee asked credit unions what collaborative initiatives are most important to them, and resoundingly, one of the collaborative initiatives requested by many was a tool that will allow credit unions to share data and information regarding vendors.

As a result of this input, the Committee developed the Vendor Information Site, which gives credit unions the ability to determine which vendors other credit unions utilize, and also provides the ability to connect and share vendor experiences among credit unions.
The Vendor Information Site, accessible on the League's website, is open to all League members. Visit the website and begin sharing the data about the vendors your credit union utilizes and view the data shared by other credit unions. It's that simple, and this easy action will provide you a wealth of information and knowledge.
