TCCU Introduces Solution to Protect Members from Credit Card Fraud
Friday, February 3, 2017 6:55 AM

Tarrant County’s Credit Union kicked off 2017 by offering real-time card fraud alerts for credit cards. In the fight to protect their members against credit card fraud, TCCU has added a new layer of protection to their credit card program by offering real-time fraud text alerts.

TCCU members may now enroll for this feature that will notify them of potential fraudulent activity on their credit cards. Fraud text alerts will allow members to respond quickly and either confirm or protest attempted transactions. If fraud is suspected by the member, the card can be blocked from further transactions. If the transactions are validated by the member, the card will remain available for use.

“Enrolling in fraud text alerts is one way cardholder members can take a proactive stance in protecting their account,” said TCCU’s VP of technology, Karen Knight.

This latest solution was added to enable members to better monitor and manage credit card account activity. TCCU encourages members to take advantage of this free service. Enrollment is easy and information may be found on TCCU’s website.
