Tarrant County’s Credit Union Sponsors 29th Annual Tarrant County Employee Appreciation Day.

On May 2, 2017, a celebration for Tarrant County government employees was held on the lawn of the Tarrant County Administration building. This was the 29th year for the event, and the 22nd year that it was sponsored in full by Tarrant County’s Credit Union. The day included food, activities, and musical entertainment provided by several local businesses and vendors.

The event also honored those who were celebrating employment milestones with the County. Commissioners Roy Brooks, Andy Nguyen, Grover Fickes, and J.D. Johnson, along with County Judge B. Glen Whitley, recognized123 employees who had reached 25 years and more of service to Tarrant County. These employees were presented awards at the end of the ceremony.

Tarrant County’s Credit Union has been a part of County Employee Appreciation Day since its inception. With the hard work of TCCU Business Development Coordinator Melissa Burleson and her collaboration with Tarrant County’s Community Resource Coordinator Susan Sodek, the employees were treated to a day of food, fun, and deserved recognition.

Tarrant County’s Credit Union is glad to be a part of this time-honored tradition and looks forward to the celebration for years to come.
