Tarrant County's CU Rewards $250/Month to Grand Slam Winner
Wednesday, April 20, 2016 6:45 AM

Tarrant County’s Credit Union (TCCU) will be awarding their Grand Slam winner Alfredo Silfa Jr. with $250 per month every month in 2016.

Throughout 2015, TCCU ran a Grand Slam promotion to help members save money refinancing or making a new purchase of an auto. It gave members access to services such as pre-approval and sight draft, which allowed them to be approved for a specific dollar amount and given a blank check they could fill up to the amount approved.

Members who financed a vehicle loan with the credit union would also have their names placed in a Grand Slam drawing, which is how Silfa came out a winner.

“The promotion, of course, was to generate loan growth, but it was also about rewarding loyalty and fostering goodwill," said CEO Lily Newfarmer. "In the end, our goal is to always help our members save money when they make that all-important car purchase, and being able to give back to those who have contributed to our success makes us better partners going forward."
