Tarrant County’s CU Presents Donation to Humane Society of North Texas
Monday, January 25, 2016 6:55 AM

Tarrant County’s Credit Union makes donations easy with their Charity Is Good accounts. The program has been striking a chord with members and donors with a passion for giving. Throughout 2015, donations were collected for the benefit of the Humane Society of North Texas.

In January 2016, TCCU was pleased to present a check in the amount of $3,250 to Peggy Brown, community outreach coordinator, with the Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) at their Fort Worth location.

The Charity Is Good product works with TCCU’s checking and debit MasterCard programs by rounding up members’ debit card purchase amounts, and deposits it into a fund created for a designated charity.

“HSNT is incredibly grateful for Tarrant County’s Credit Union’s ongoing support and for the generosity of their members and supporters," said Whitney Hanson, director of development and communications. "This impressive check will help us to save the lives of homeless, lost, abused, and neglected animals in North Texas."

TCCU is an $80-million credit union serving more than 10,000 members throughout Tarrant County, Texas. TCCU operates four branches located in Fort Worth, Hurst, Lake Worth, and Arlington.
