Scott HumphriesAbout Scott Humphries

Scott Humphreys is the Vice President of Business Lending at Amplify Credit Union (AFCU) and has been with the CU since early 2014. AFCU has been serving its Austin members since 1967 and its business members since 2008. Scott has been supporting the credit union MBL industry since 2003, spending over 10 years with CU Business Group. Since moving to Amplify, Scott’s MBL team has generated over $50MM in new loans, expanded its SBA program, and is consistently looking to make Amplify the communities 1st option for their business lending needs. A native of the Pacific NW, Scott earned his Bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Arizona University.

Preston PriceAbout Preston Price

Preston is currently the Vice President of Commercial Services at Smart Financial Credit Union in Houston, TX.  Preston has been with SFCU since 2013.  During this time SFCU has grown their MBL portfolio from $27 million TAUM to over $95 million TAUM.  SFCU has a community charter and serves members in Montgomery, Harris, Fort Bend and Brazoria counties

Preston has over 15 years in the credit union industry and over 20 years of experience in the Financial Industry.  Before Joining Smart Financial, Preston managed a $1.6 billion portfolio of commercial loans and oversaw more than $3 Billion in participation loans to various credit unions throughout the country.  In 2016, Preston was selected as a member of the task force which oversaw the re-writing/updating of the Texas State MBL regulation. 

Preston has an MBA from the University of Redlands in California and an BBA from Howard University in Washington, D.C.  At present, Preston is preparing for his second year at the CUNA Management School in Madison, WI.
