Steve Rick Set to Discuss Economic Outlook for Credit Unions at upcoming Volunteers’ Forum
Wednesday, May 22, 2013 6:55 AM

A poor global economy. A struggling financial sector. A stressed labor market. These all have a significant impact, not just on the U.S. economy and its interest rates, but also on your credit union’s balance sheets and earnings performance.

Learn what you need to know during the Volunteers’ Forum general session on Friday, June 21: “Coming Attraction: Economic Outlook for Credit Unions.” Steve Rick, senior economist at CUNA, will analyze and establish standards against which your credit union’s own performance can be measured. Additionally, Rick will identify trends of savings and loan activity, and weigh the influence of future economic events on growth patterns out into 2013.

The 2013 Volunteers’ Forum takes place June 19-21 in San Antonio. For more information or to register, please visit
