Tuesday, December 5, 2017 6:35 AM

Brandi Stankovic

CU Solutions Group (CUSG) has announced the hiring of Brandi Stankovic as senior vice president of credit union engagement and consulting.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Brandi join our organization; she brings a strong and unique skillset to the team,” said Dave Adams, CEO of CU Solutions Group. “We are particularly interested in launching our national product-led consulting strategy in conjunction with state leagues and other industry consultants. This is a continuation of CUSG’s passion for collaboration with the CUNA/League Credit Union System to better serve credit unions of all sizes nationally with our partners.”

Stankovic currently serves as the managing partner of Mitchell, Stankovic and Associates and will begin the transition over the next few months. She will officially assume full-time duties with CUSG Feb. 26, 2018, from Las Vegas.

“We are delighted that Brandi will be leading a brand new, product-led consulting vision for CUSG,” said Susan Mitchell, founder and CEO of Mitchell, Stankovic and Associates. “Brandi has been instrumental in the execution of credit union strategies globally for more than 15 years. With her leadership, the possibilities are endless. Although Mike, the team and I will miss her energy in the office, we are lucky to call her family. We are very proud of her growth and happy to see her take the next step to impact credit unions well into the future.”

Mitchell, Stankovic and Associates, founded by Mitchell and Michael Stankovic in 1985, provides strategic consulting solutions for its credit union clients. It also serves as host to the Underground Community and Underground Collision conferences, a collaboration of like-minded credit union professionals and volunteers who love credit unions but recognize the need for mindset and business changes. The Underground serves to bring off-the-record, conference hallway conversations out of the dark, and make them center stage.

“What an amazing opportunity!” Brandi said. “First, CUSG and the Michigan Credit Union League and its leadership are forging new ground and providing value to the credit unions of Michigan. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to continue working with my clients and partners in the industry, conducting strategic planning, creating strategic alliances, delivering educational keynotes and sessions, and guiding a team to make a difference in the lives of credit unions, their leadership, and their members.”

In her new role, Brandi will direct product and service delivery for CUSG’s Michigan Solutions division, including all Michigan-centric partnerships as well as sales and affiliation efforts for Michigan’s 235 credit unions. Michigan Solutions is a division of CU Solutions Group, a national credit union service organization that is majority-owned by the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL).

Stankovic is also charged with developing a new product-led consulting strategy for CUSG that will create a national network of consultants who sell and support CUSG products like Performance Pro, Compease, CU PlanningPro and CU BoardNavigator.

“We are seeking to broaden our performance solutions distribution and support based on a consultative approach,” MCUL President/Chief Operating Officer Ken Ross said. “Brandi is the perfect fit. Her extensive background in serving credit union boards, executives and the industry will translate into the strategic execution and partner collaboration we need.”

Dr. Stankovic is an organizational change expert and motivational speaker with a proven track record of inspiring firms globally with her leadership models, engagement, and award-winning education. She holds a doctorate in education and an MBA and has dedicated her career to the credit union community. She is a Credit Union Development Educator (DE), serves on numerous boards including HRD Network, Nevada Council on Economic Education, and spends time volunteering with young professionals and the World Council of Credit Union’s Global Women’s Leadership Network.

Stankovic is the recipient of the National Credit Union Foundation’s DE Individual Achievement Award 2017, CU Times Trailblazer 40 Below in 2016, California/Nevada Credit Union League Tomorrow’s Star 2015, and she is the co-author of The Strategic MVP, a book highlighting 52 growth and leadership tools.

The Strategic Hotbox, an energizing podcast and collection of executive tools designed to help executives reach their greatest potential, will continue to be offered by Stankovic. “CUSG embraces all of my vigor and energy to drive results,” Stankovic shared. “The future is bright.”
