Space City Credit Union Rolls Out 12 New Products and Services

Space City Credit Union, based in Houston, Texas, is pleased to announce the release of 12 new products and services, which include a mix of internal software enhancements and member-facing products.

Below is a list of the new products and services and their anticipated release dates:

  • Expanded 400-day history on system and home banking; was 45 days – complete
  • Email receipts for teller transactions – complete
  • Enhanced CTR processing for the tellers – complete
  • E-Notices – opt in to receive email notices instead of paper – complete
  • P2P Payments – Person to person electronic payments – 4th Qtr. 2016
  • Updated Accounting software for staff – 1st Qtr. 2017
  • PFM – personal financial management tool available through online banking – 4th Qtr. 2016
  • New Mobile Banking App– now branded with our logo with new look and feel – 4th Qtr. 2016
  • Credit Sense – view and track free credit score and report via online banking. – 4th Qtr. 2016
  • Card Valet – set restrictions on debit card with Card Valet app; turn on and off – 1st Qtr. 2017
  • Instant Issue Debit Cards – available at the Houston and La Porte offices – 1st Qtr. 2017
  • EMV Debit Cards – Chip cards to be issued for new and renewal cards – 1st Qtr. 2017
