Diamond Lakes FCU in CUs Care Attire

Cornerstone Credit Union League encourages everyone to wear their red Credit Unions Care T-shirts to increase visibility and awareness of credit unions, engender good will, and make a lasting impression on the community. And we want to see your pictures from these interactions and events. We'll be posting photos of credit union people in their red shirts on the Cornerstone website in a dedicated image gallery.

Send your photos to Vickey Morris at

The Credit Unions Care campaign helps people understand that credit unions are not just financial partners but community partners; and in that spirit, Credit Unions Care can help to differentiate credit unions from others in the for-profit financial services sector. We encourage all credit unions to participate in selling the paper dogs or possibly making a donation on behalf of the credit union to help us reach our goal of $115,000.

The Children's Miracle Network and Credit Union for Kids connection to the campaign only runs through Aug. 31. All money raised stays in the community it came from. In other words, all money you contribute will go back to the hospitals in your area. Please send your donations in regularly, rather than waiting for a grand total at the end of the program, as administrators are tracking funds raised cumulatively. Be counted!

Also, Cornerstone host credit unions for the CU Ride motorcycle tour to deliver stuffed dogs to CMN hospitals around the Cornerstone region is now open for registrants. You can ride your motorcycle or drive your car! Discover more about CU Ride here.

Note:  Though the CMN portion of the campaign ends Aug. 31, Credit Unions Care runs indefinitely, and many things are planned for the future of this exciting initiative.
