Shell Federal Credit Union has named Sam James as its new CIO effective Monday, June 1, 2015. Credit Union Resources conducted the executive search for the $670 million dollar credit union.

He is a board officer and treasurer for Lagniappe Film and Music Festival in Southeast Texas; a former board officer for “Recreate,” a city revitalization project; and a former board officer with the Austin Party Cannibals (Celebration Productions), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing large-scale entertainment in the City of Austin, Texas.
