Shell FCU Announces Selection of New VP of Accounting and Finance

Deer Park, Texas-based Shell Federal Credit Union has named Brandy Bogue as its new vice president of accounting and finance effective Monday, Sept. 17, 2018. Credit Union Resources conducted the executive search for the $1 billion dollar credit union. 

Bogue’s credit union experience and expertise in accounting will be a valuable asset to the executive team at Shell FCU. Her strong leadership skills and passion for proactive finance operations will help Shell continue to provide exceptional service to its members.

Bogue comes to Shell from People’s Trust Federal Credit Union in Houston where she served as AVP of finance and accounting. She was responsible for managing the accounting and finance staff, ALM reporting, financial statement variance analysis, and annual budget preparation. Bogue also acted as a backup for CFO purchasing and selling investments and annual broker due diligence.

Prior to serving as the AVP of finance and accounting at People’s Trust, Bogue was the senior accountant at Wyle HP&E in Houston. Bogue prepared, reviewed, and analyzed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and prepared many other management reports monthly.

Bogue holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
