Security First FCU Selects Resources to Conduct Searches for New CEO and CFO

Credit Union Resources has been selected to conduct searches for the positions of president/CEO and chief financial officer for Security First Federal Credit Union in Edinburg, Texas. Security First FCU’s board expressed the need for a thorough and effective search for these critical positions and chose Credit Union Resources based on its expertise in executive search within the financial services industry.

As the president/CEO, this visionary executive will be responsible for the daily operations of the credit union. The position requires an individual with a history of strong leadership skills and executive-level experience at a financial institution.

As the chief financial officer, this experienced executive will be responsible for the development of the financial well-being of the credit union by providing financial projections and accounting services, preparing growth plans, and directing staff. The position requires an individual with a history of financial planning and strategy skills.

With eight branches throughout the Rio Grande Valley, Security First FCU has $365 million in assets and serves more than 44,500 members. Since 1947, Security First FCU has prided itself as being “from the valley, for the valley,” and they are committed to exceeding their members' needs and serving the community.

The executive searches for Security First FCU’s president/CEO and chief financial officer will be led by Marcus Cotton, vice president of executive recruiting at Credit Union Resources.
