Secure Your Seat at Cornerstone's Principles & Philosophy Conference
Friday, February 14, 2014 6:25 AM

Interested in learning more about the history and role of credit unions in the market space, but unable at this time to make the one-week commitment to attend the Credit Union Development Education (DE) training? Or perhaps you’ve attended DE training already, or are planning to attend either the spring or fall session this year, and are looking for a training program that will compliment what you have learned or will soon learn at DE training. Then consider attending the Cornerstone Credit Union League’s first-ever Principles & Philosophy Conference May 12-14 in Dallas.

This May 12-14 program is an opportunity for credit union professionals and volunteers alike to expand their knowledge and understanding, as well as learn how to best leverage the credit union principles and philosophy. Among other things, Cornerstone’s Principles and Philosophy Conference explores:

  • the history and role of credit unions in the marketplace
  • the value of cooperative philosophies and how to apply in the day-to-day operations of your credit union
  • historical and current social impact of credit unions
  • why credit unions are different and how to leverage that for growth

Conference attendees will also create a plan of action for their credit union. Additional information on the Principles & Philosophy Conference can be found in the Education section of Cornerstone’s website.

If you have any questions, please contact Training & Events, at (469) 385-6630 or (800) 442-5762, ext. 6630.
