Thursday, June 26, 2014 6:50 AM

The Cornerstone Credit Union League is offering a Comprehensive Lending 101 Seminar in Little Rock, Ark., July 29, and with limited seating, credit unions are encouraged to register early in order to secure their seat at this must-attend seminar.

Featuring Galli Davis, this one-day program covers essential interview skills and applicable underwriting methods that will assist staff in making more loans while mitigating risk, including how to increase C, D and E paper loans while controlling delinquency.

Presidents, CEOs, managers, lending executive and managers, lending staff, and any other credit union staff exposed to lending in general are encouraged to attend. Credit unions that register by July 8 will be able to take advantage of the early bird registration rate of $299 per person. Please note that this educational investment includes instruction, extensive handouts, continental breakfast, networking lunch, and two refreshment breaks.

Proper notes and documentation will be discussed as Davis incorporates a few loan workshop scenarios that will put attendee’s skills to the test. Attendees can also expect Davis to discuss collateral loan structure and auto loan recapture through cross-selling and best practice programs including how to cancel dealer products, and wrap up with focus on ancillary productivity and its role in credit unions today.

Additional information on the Comprehensive Lending 101 Seminar, including registration, is available on Cornerstone’s website. Please contact Training & Events if you have any questions, at (469) 385-6630 or (800) 442-5762, ext. 6630.
