Consumers are seeing that the mentality of "borrow, borrow, borrow" can be dangerous and lead a person into financial disaster without savvy guidance from their financial partners—credit union lending professionals. Learn how to discuss your consumer loan products in a way that gives your members the opportunity to make informed decisions.

Consumer lending is not a skill one learns quickly. It takes time and practice. This program covers a spectrum of information on consumer lending. Participants will learn issues from the philosophy of consumer lending, all the way through how to make a solid loan decision that benefits both the member and the credit union.

Who Should Attend?
The program is geared for a variety of employees from novices to those somewhat more advanced. For those starting out, they will benefit by attending both sessions. For those with a greater degree of experience, the second day will cover more advanced topics.
