Chairman Debbie Matz has twice declined to extend the May 28 comment deadline on NCUA's risk-based capital (RBC) proposal, and Cornerstone continues to push for a strong credit union response. As you probably know, this proposal affects credit unions with concentrations in real estate, CUSOs, MBLs, mortgage servicing assets, and more. Is that your credit union?
We're taking to the road to ensure people understand the proposal's scope and potential impact. Please join us as we discuss this proposal in depth and help you draft a compelling letter to NCUA before the May 28 deadline. Following are the upcoming RBC Proposal Roadshows.
Tuesday, May 13, 11:30-1:00 pm
* Lunch provided. Please RSVP!
Credit Union House
631 East Hill Street
Oklahoma City, OK 73105
To reserve your place at any one of these Roadshow events, please RSVP to Charlotte Spencer at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
You can find more information about our comment campaign at CUNA’s grassroots website. A detailed summary of the RBC rule may be accessed here.
For more information, please visit our Cornerstone Comment Calls page or CUNA’s Risk-Based Capital Action Center for the latest information on the proposal and to access the CUNA calculator.
The following handouts are reference tools for this workshop. There will also be hard copies of the proposal and our session summary available for attendees.
