Resource One CU Makes Donation to Benefit Local Food Bank
Monday, August 1, 2016 6:55 AM

Resource One Day of Service

Credit Union Development Educators (CUDE) work collectively and individually to help others with housing, health, and hunger. This year Resource One wanted to celebrate CUDE Day of Service on June 15 by donating canned goods to the North Texas Food Bank and the Houston Food Bank.

Resource One encouraged each employee to donate at least five non-perishable items. Because of their efforts, Resource One donated more than 1,000 non-perishable items to North Texas Food Bank and Houston Food Bank.

CUDE graduate and Resource One Director of Sales and Service Kyle Brisendine said, “This is the first Credit Union Day of Service, and the employees of Resource One Credit Union all pulled together to donate to the canned goods to our local food banks. This is a true sign of showing that credit unions care for our members and for the communities that we serve. It is the small things in life that go a long way.”
