Resource One Credit Union Gives Tour to Students and Teachers
Monday, April 25, 2016 6:45 AM

Resource One Hosts Elementary School Students

On April 14, 2016, Liberty Grove Elementary's second grade class toured Resource One’s corporate location to learn about how credit unions work. The students also met with representatives from each department and received an introduction about how each department works and contributes to Resource One Credit Union.

After their visit, the students took that knowledge back to their classrooms and will make a credit union of their own to show their parents and other students how a credit union functions.

Employees of Resource One were very impressed with the kids during the visit.

“It was exciting to see the kids from Liberty Grove Elementary so eager to learn about Credit Unions,” stated Andrew Monterrosa.

Resource One’s Clarence Nash said, “I saw those kids as the food and flowers for tomorrow's garden. If properly nurtured, we can produce an abundant crop of solid citizens capable of achieving social and economic changes relevant to a free and productive future.”
