Register Now for a Small Credit Union Workshop Near You

The Cornerstone Credit Union League provides training workshops for small credit unions each year. The featured topics this year include Compliance Update for Small Credit Unions, Human Resources Trends for Small Credit Unions, CU Policy Pro, and Hot Topics.

The Small CU Workshop is **FREE to member credit unions under $50M in assets** for up to two attendees from each credit union and only $50 for each additional attendee. Lunch will be provided for all attendees.

The workshops are open to all Small Credit Union staff, directors and volunteers. Credit unions affiliated with the Cornerstone Credit Union League are welcome and encouraged to attend any of the workshops. Following are the workshops through summer:

STEVE GIBBS. Steve Gibbs is AVP compliance services for Shared Compliance Resources with Credit Union Resources. With more than 20 years in the financial industry, his career includes time served with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (Office of Thrift Supervision - “OTS”), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.  Learn more about Steve Gibbs.

SUSAN LOONEY. Susan Looney is a graduate of the University of Kansas, where she received a BA in Personnel Administration. Susan joined Credit Union Resources in June 1996 and is currently senior vice president of human resources for Cornerstone Credit Union League and Credit Union Resources. KIMBERLY JONES. Kimberly Jones joined Credit Union Employment Resources, in March 2008 as a human resource consultant. She works with credit unions to provide hands-on human resource consulting services. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Dallas HR Management. LORRI GAITHER. Lorri Gaither began her tenure with Cornerstone Credit Union League in 2004 and was promoted in 2014 to vice president of the small credit union development. Her department provides resources to small credit unions under $50 million in assets to help them thrive, grow, and continue to succeed in serving their members. Lorri also serves as a Liaison to the Cornerstone Small Credit Union Committee and the Cornerstone Lending Council. Lorri currently serves as a board member for Members’ Choice FCU in Denton, Texas. The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation is accepting grant applications for League training events based on financial need. Applications must be received by application deadlines.
