Limited Seats Available for the Foundation’s Transformative Program

Credit union leaders and emerging leaders can still register for the National Credit Union Foundation’s 2019 Credit Union Development Education (DE) Trainings taking place in Madison, Wis.

The DE Program is the signature program of the Foundation, which promotes the education and application of credit union business principles and philosophy. Limited seats are offered at each training, and the four DE programs for 2019 have been filling up quickly with credit union leaders from around the world. Individuals who complete the training earn a CUDE designation, joining the ranks of more than 1,800 DEs in the United States and more than 4,000 DEs worldwide.

“There are many great trainings that focus on ‘what’ credit unions do to serve members and ‘how’ they do it. DE Training is unique in that we focus on the ‘why’,” said Chad Helminak, director of the DE Program. “Whether you’re new to credit unions or have been around the block, DE Training provides a fresh perspective on our shared mission and how we can leverage our unique business model to better meet the needs of our members and communities.”

There are still a few open spots for the 2019 DE Training dates:

  • April 3-9, 2019
  • May 15-21, 2019
  • September 11-17, 2019
  • November 6-12, 2019

Register for one of the above trainings.

Cost to attend DE Training: $3,100

  • Pricing includes lodging and meals for the duration of the training.
  • Participants are responsible for travel expense.
  • Credit unions not affiliated with CUNA can still attend DE at a non-member rate of $3,875 (please contact us to see if you qualify).

DE Training is intended for emerging or established leaders from credit unions, system partners and organizations that support credit unions. Employees from all organizational levels are eligible to attend. Volunteers and board directors are welcome as well.
