Red River Employees Federal Credit Union celebrated their 72nd annual meeting on Saturday, April 11. Part of their celebration included entertainment from one of Nashville’s most enduring personalities, Mel Tillis.

Tillis performed for a record attendance of over 600 guests. He and his band, The Statesiders, have worked concerts all over the 50 states, Canada, England, and other countries. In 2007, Mel Tillis was inducted into the The Grand Old Opry by his daughter Pam Tillis.

During the meeting portion, Fred Milton, chairman of the board of directors honored several board members for their tenure. Sammie Murdock received an award for 60 years of service on the Red River Employees FCU board of directors (see photo).
