Red River EFCU Loses Long-time CU Volunteer

Hubbard McDuffie, a longtime board member of Red River Employee FCU in Texarkana, Texas died on July 23, 2014. McDuffie served on the credit union board for 43 years. He was Chairman for 14 years and also served as vice-chairman and chairman of various committees, including the supervisory and credit committees. Funeral services were held last week.

McDuffie retired from Red River Army Depot after 31 years of service. He was a Line Supervisor, Production Controller, and Deputy Chief of the Reserve and National Guard Office. A native of Clarksville, Texas, he is survived by his wife of 67 years Doris Rae Geary McDuffie of Annona; a daughter, Sherry Pate of Queen City; and a sister, Betty Wilson of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
