Kathleen A. Scott is a senior counsel in the New York office representing some of the world's largest international financial institutions concentrating on a broad range of financial services regulatory, anti-money laundering and privacy matters.
Kathleen began her career as an attorney for the United States Department of Treasury and also served as an assistant counsel for the New York State Banking Department before going into private practice at two other major law firms in New York before joining Norton Rose Fulbright.
Since 2005, she has written a bi-monthly column on International Banking for the New York Law Journal. In addition, she routinely contributes to the Financial Services: Regulation Tomorrow blog, which provides insight and commentary on the global financial regulatory environment.
Pablo DeFilippi is currently VP of Membership and Consulting Services Business Development for the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions, a national, nonprofit association that represents, supports and invests in credit unions serving predominantly low-income, financially underserved communities.
DeFilippi has more than 20 years of experience in community finance and financial inclusion working with regulated financial institutions both in the domestic and international arena. Throughout his career, DeFilippi has implemented, promoted or expanded a number of important initiatives aimed to expanding access to affordable, responsible and sustainable solutions to meeting the financial needs of low and moderate income consumers.
Mr. DeFilippi is based at the Credit Union National Association campus in Madison, WI, where he also acts as a liaison with CUNA, CUNA Mutual Group, CUES, Filene and other credit union organizations.
