Please Reserve Monday, April 20, for Cornerstone RBC 2.0 Webinar
Wednesday, April 15, 2015 7:00 AM

The Cornerstone Credit Union League will be hosting a webinar on NCUA’s Risk-Based Capital 2.0 (RBC2) proposal on Monday, April 20, at 3:00 p.m. (CST). All Cornerstone credit unions are encouraged to attend this essential discussion.

This webinar is especially important because although RBC2 is improved from last year’s original proposal, remaining are a number of areas that must be addressed. We want to do that before the comment deadline of April 27, 2015.

The webinar will be conducted by Suzanne Yashewski, Cornerstone SVP Regulatory Compliance Counsel. Suzanne will provide background on Risk-Based Capital, changes between last year’s version and the current RBC2, and tips for writing an effective comment letter to NCUA.

Thoughtful comment letters from credit unions outlining their concerns are vital to ensuring that necessary improvements are made. It was the more than 2,000 comment letters on the original RBC proposal that caused NCUA to reexamine its stance and rewrite it for RBC2. Together, credit unions can do that again.
