People's Trust FCU Opens New Branch in Energy Corridor
Thursday, December 5, 2013 6:35 AM

People’s Trust FCU has just opened the doors to their new, 5,100 square foot Westside Branch in the Energy Corridor (1805 Eldridge Parkway, south of Briar Forest). The new Westside Branch will replace the Town and Country Village Branch that closed last week as the lease nears expiration.

“We invested in an extensive study of where our members are, where they prefer to interact with us, and where we could most effectively build a branch on our own land rather than lease,” said Angela S. McCathran, president and CEO of People’s Trust FCU since 2001.

The branch includes dialog towers with cash dispensing machines, as opposed to a standard teller counter. This approach provides a more intimate, personalized experience to our members. In addition to the dialog towers, the branch also features two ATMs, a drive-thru, and a community room that will be used for the credit union’s education seminars and for affiliated community groups to use at no charge.

People’s Trust FCU turned to LEVEL5, a business partner of Credit Union Resources to design the branch.

Jeff Ensweiler, vice president of the consulting and facilities development with LEVEL5, said, “We couldn’t be more excited for People’s Trust to expand their retail presence on the west side of Houston. The credit union’s focus on delivering exceptional service resulted in a custom-tailored facility to best serve the community. We look forward to hearing member success stories in the years to come.”

The branch will be open Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the drive thru opening at 8 a.m. Monday thru Saturday. A formal ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration is scheduled for January.

LEVEL5 is a consulting and facilities development firm that works exclusively with financial institutions across the United States.
