People’s Trust Breaks Ground on New Westside Branch
Tuesday, April 23, 2013 6:15 AM

People’s Trust FCU says it has broken ground on its second standalone branch in the Houston area. This state of the art facility is a coinless branch and has no teller lines, which offers a more personalized way of doing business.

In addition, this new 5,682 square foot building will include a small community room, a drive-through and a coin machine that will be available for members to empty out their change jars with no additional service fees.

The professional team at LEVEL5, a premier business alliance of Credit Union Resources, Inc., created the design and will manage the construction. This is the third branch that LEVEL5 will design for the credit union.

“When we consulted with LEVEL5, they were able to provide a detailed market analysis that confirmed our need to be on the West side of Houston. We have a large percentage of our membership that live on the west side of town and we look forward to expanding our presence and being able to serve our member’s financial needs,” says Angela McCathran, president and CEO of People’s Trust.

The new credit union branch, located at the 1805 Eldridge Parkway in the Energy corridor, expects the work to be completed in December 2013, which will allow them to move staff from their Town and Country Branch into this location.
