In the run-up to the Nov. 8 elections, Oklahoma Credit Union Association staff has been traveling the state meeting with candidates and distributing OCUPAC and CULAC checks in support of their campaigns.
OKCUA President Nate Webb calls the process invaluable to Oklahoma credit unions. “With over 40 open seats on the ballot this year, these meetings allow us an opportunity to both educate and build relationships with candidates before they even take office," he said. "It also allows us to support those incumbents who have been supportive of credit union issues.”
