The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothon has become a highly successful program for fundraising and increasing awareness for Children’s Hospital Foundation. This year’s Radiothon, held on Nov. 6-7, raised more than $65,000 to benefit local children’s hospitals; and once again, the Oklahoma Credit Unions for Kids Committee volunteered to help, manning the phone panel to take pledges from listeners.

During the two-day KXY Loves Kids Radiothon, parents and children share their stories of medical miracles on the KXY 96.1 Clear Channel Radio station. Pledges are accepted with the help of a volunteer phone panel, sponsorships, and on-air raffles. Donations and pledges ensure that Oklahoma’s children receive the best pediatric care without leaving the state.

The KXY Loves Kids Radiothon has touched the heart of communities all over Oklahoma. This year's Oklahoma Credit Unions for Kids Committee volunteers include Paul Arambula from Focus FCU, Jeremy Daggs from University & Community FCU, Alison Wolf from FAA Credit Union, and Teresa Carter, Pam Ellis, Israel Estrada, and Jeanene Adkins from Tinker FCU.

The Radiothon takes place in the Children’s Atrium, owned and operated by University Hospitals Authority and Trust. Hundreds of people choose to become KXY Loves Kids Club Members by pledging to donate $15 a month.
