Friday, March 20, 2015 7:00 AM

The board of directors for Corpus Christi-based NavyArmy Community Credit Union has elected new officers for 2015.

Eloy Salazar will serve as chairman; Sylvia Martinez as first vice chairman; Pete Rivera as treasurer; and John Jackson as secretary. Combined, the officers have over 63 years of tenure on the NavyArmy board. "We are very excited about our new roles on the board, and are proud to serve the 139,000+ credit union members," said Salazar.

On February 10, 2015, at the NavyArmy Annual Meeting, two of the appointed directors were elected for three-year terms: Albert Kessler of HEST Fitness Products and Bryan Stone, attorney with Porter, Rogers, Dahlman & Gordon, LLP. "We congratulate these directors on their election to the board," added Salazar.

Continuing to serve on the board are Vicki Gonzales (22 years), Don Rymer (18 years), and Jerry Woitas (34 years). Linda Anderson serves as advisory board member, and previously served five years on the Supervisory Committee.

NavyArmy has over $2 billion in assets and serves over 139,000 members in South Texas and Rio Grande Valley.
