The National Advocacy Fund (the Fund) was launched in late 2013 to help CUNA and the leagues take advantage of unique political opportunities—close elections where a credit union champion needs just a little help to get across the finish line or in races where we have a chance to turn out of office a representative or senator that has been hostile to credit unions.
You might consider the Fund as a political venture capital fund to pool credit union resources from across the nation and invest them where the impact on electing credit union champions is greatest. And unlike contributions to your state PAC or CULAC, contributions to the National Advocacy Fund may come from state and federally chartered credit unions, leagues, CUSOs, and other credit union vendors.
