Day 1: Foundations - Review & Confirm
Whether your need is affirmation or you are new to the industry with 2 years or less experience, this day is designed to connect the dots from pre-application to the closing table. As we review the foundations, those involved in the originating, processing and closing processes will find the content most beneficial.

Day 2: Building Blocks - Changes & New Proposals
This day is designed to build on a good foundation, update you on the latest changes and problem solve challenges that arise. It is not necessary to have a wealth of experience in residential real estate lending and/or Home Equity, but at least 2 years would provide the cornerstones for maximizing your workshop experience.

Presenters - Tom Duke & Kimberly Lundquist

Tom DukeTom Duke has practiced law with Blalack & Williams since 1996 and has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. During the banking crisis of the early 1990s, Tom was employed by the FDIC to document the foreclosure and sale of numerous and sizeable commercial and residential real estate properties. During his tenure at Blalack & Williams, Tom has assisted the firm's clients with diverse real estate projects, foreclosure on mortgage loans and Home Equity loans, and the development of documents for consumer investment and rental property loans. Tom has developed significant expertise in the Home Equity lending area, answering credit union questions on a daily basis relating to Home Equity, Mortgage, and Home Improvement lending. Tom provides extensive training for credit unions in all areas of Home Equity lending and frequently speaks on this topic. Tom also assists the firm's clients in their review of all types of vendor contracts and loan agreements. His areas of practice include: Credit Union and Consumer Finance Law, Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law, Transactions and Contracts, and Seminars and Training. Tom has a B.A. from Austin College and a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law.

Kimberly LindquistKimberly Lundquist, President of FIC strives to provide you with informative conferences, webinars & reference guides! Headquartered in San Antonio, Kimberly has spent the better part of her career specializing in training others in all aspects of federal regulatory residential real estate compliance. Having been with FIC since early 1982, Kimberly has conducted a great deal of the research support which has been essential to real life application of the regulations!

The state board of accountancy has final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Registrant Cancellation Policy

Substitutions are always welcome. Registration fee refunds (less a $50 processing fee per person/per seminar) are granted for cancellations received in writing two weeks prior to the seminar.

Seminar Cancellation Policy

Locations with less than twenty (20) registrants two weeks out may be cancelled. In the event of cancellation, all registrants will be notified.
