About Allegiance Credit Union
Allegiance Credit Union, formally Federal Employees Credit Union (FECU), was chartered in February 1963 under the Oklahoma State Banking Laws. It was originally located in the basement of the Federal Courthouse and then moved into the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. April 19, 1995, changed lives drastically as the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was bombed and 33 employees drastically turned into 15. In February 2002, FECU became a community charter, allowing membership from the six counties surrounding Oklahoma City; thus changing the name to Allegiance Credit Union on May 1, 2003. Allegiance Credit Union continues to grow in asset size, membership, and branch locations. The legacy of FECU, the restoration, and continued growth as Allegiance Credit Union makes members and employees alike proud to be credit union people. For more information, please visit
