Members Say ‘Capture My Heart’ as Part of Valentine-Themed Mobile Deposit Campaign

Credit union members will have a chance to “show the love” in February. All they need to do is draw hearts on checks deposited to their credit union’s Mobile Capture service.

The “Capture My Heart” promotion will run Feb. 7-14, and encourages members to draw a heart on each check deposited through Mobile Capture. By doing so, members become eligible to win a $100 gift card.

This is the third year Catalyst Corporate has produced the Valentine-themed marketing campaign, with the ultimate goal of helping credit unions boost awareness and usage of their mobile deposit service offerings.

Catalyst Corporate will provide credit unions with customizable materials that support the campaign including mailers, postcards, and posters. Catalyst Corporate will also provide a $100 gift card to each participating credit union to award to a randomly selected winner.

Last year, two dozen credit unions and hundreds of their members participated in the campaign. Credit unions reported a boost in awareness and enrollment in their Mobile Capture programs, according to Terry Young, Catalyst Corporate’s vice president of marketing and communications.

Currently, 90 credit unions are using the Mobile Capture service through Catalyst Corporate. The Mobile Capture product allows credit union members to deposit checks anywhere, anytime using smart mobile devices.
