Marketing Pros: Apps Now Open for CUs to Compete in 'The Pitch'

Applications are now open for The Pitch, a contest of innovative business ideas for credit unions, presented by the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council. Entries are due Feb. 3, and the winner will be chosen at the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference, March 29 – April 1, in San Antonio, Texas.

"The Pitch is a chance for credit unions to bring their most ambitious, creative ideas in marketing and business development to life and a chance for us to take in all the awesome creativity of our industry," said Michelle Shelton, chief marketing officer, SCE Federal CU, Irwindale, Calif. "Anyone with a dream project they haven’t had the chance to realize should absolutely submit an entry."

To enter The Pitch, now in its third year, credit unions propose a bold idea, project, or concept with the potential to advance an overarching marketing or business development initiative, such as accelerating membership growth or increasing awareness. Credit unions that make the best submissions will be invited to make a final pitch at the conference where judges will select the winner.

The winning credit union will receive $10,000 in funding and support from the financial services marketing agency Mills Marketing to realize their idea. For more details, click here.
