Wednesday, August 7, 2013 6:40 AM

The Cornerstone Credit Union League (League) has confirmed the opening and closing general session presenters at its upcoming Marketing & Business Development Conference in San Antonio. Mike Newhouse, CEO of Impyre, LLC will open this year’s conference with an inspiring session, Winning the Membership Race.

Dallas-based Impyre is an internet marketing company that specializes in helping businesses leverage search traffic to increase their bottom line revenue. In his thought-provoking session, Newhouse will guide attendees around the sales and marketing racetrack to help them learn how to better navigate the twists and turns of winning over more members.

After this session attendees will be more knowledgeable and motivated in how to:

  • Increase membership numbers
  • Create lean and efficient marketing campaigns
  • Convert prospects at a higher rate
  • Position their credit union for success in a digital age

Conference attendees will not want to miss this year’s closing session, “The Rainmaker’s Strategies.” Featuring Ed Robinson, CEO of the Robinson Performance Group, this powerful, interactive program provides business development skills necessary to design a structured process for developing long-term, mutually beneficial member relationships. Robinson combines dynamite business development strategies with a marketing model that creates a machine for effective and proactive growth regardless of economic conditions. Attendees will walk away with over a dozen skills, processes, and tools to grow their credit union business.

This year’s Marketing & Business Development Conference is being held Sept. 3-5. It features five general sessions and 12 breakout educational sessions. Credit union marketing and business development professionals, presidents, CEOs, and really anyone connected with member contact and the products or operations of the credit union are encouraged to take advantage of this educational opportunity.

Early bird registration for the Sept. 3-5 conference has been extended until Aug. 9.

The Marketing & Business Development Conference is being held in conjunction with the League’s Leadership Conference & Expo Sept. 5-7, also in San Antonio.  The Leadership conference features 24 educational sessions, three general sessions and four best practice panel discussions.
