Longtime River Valley Leader Passes, Leaves a 54-Year Legacy of Service
Monday, October 26, 2015 6:50 AM

Perry F. Beaver gave a lifetime of service to River Valley Community Federal Credit Union in Camden, Arkansas. He passed away on Oct. 20, after serving on the credit union's board of directors and a number of committees for more than 54 years.

River Valley Community FCU President/CEO Mark Hixson said Perry Beaver's service would last much longer than his lifetime, and that he was instrumental in the construction of River Valley’s two buildings and transition to a community credit union.

Hixson said of his friend, "The credit union community owes a tremendous debt to each one of the dedicated, loyal, and giving people that see the credit union movement for what it truly is, people serving people for the greater good. Thank you Mr. Beaver, from all of the staff, members, and River Valley Community.  Your example of service will continue on here at River Valley Community FCU."
