Friday, July 29, 2016 6:55 AM

Cornerstone Credit Union League is sad to report that Mary Ogden, a dedicated and long-serving employee, passed away on July 27. The native Texan was 83.

"I remember her as being a pillar of this organization for years after I joined the League," said Debbie Rightmire, VP asset/liability management. "You never questioned her devotion to the CU movement. Personally, she always had a mischievous look in her eye and a great laugh. She will be missed."

"Mary was the heartbeat of this organization," said Cornerstone EVP Karen Hart. "I always looked up to her and respected her knowledge of the credit union system and her guidance."

Cornerstone CEO Dick Ensweiler recalled, “Mary Ogden was passionate about the mission of the league. She loved credit unions and would do anything in her power to enhance our ability to serve. Mary was an integral part of our management team and was loved and appreciated by everybody.”

Mary's visitation will be this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road in Arlington, 76016.

Her service will be Saturday, July 30, at 10 a.m. at Rush Creek Christian Church, 2401 SW Green Oaks Boulevard in Arlington, 76017.
