Tuesday, March 1, 2016 6:25 AM

Join your colleagues at the Cornerstone Credit Union League's 2016 Annual Meeting and Expo in Oklahoma City, April 5–7, and let Carol Rolke teach you how to "Effectively Managing Your Vendor Management Program."

In Rolke's session, she'll review regulatory expectations for oversight of third-party relationships, discuss contract reviews (what clauses to look for and incorporate in every contract) and the safekeeping of contracts (countersigned, digital, or hard copy). Learn how to conduct the initial risk assessment of the vendor, best practices for the initial due diligence of non-critical and critical vendors, options for tracking renewals and deadlines, annual due diligence process and requirements, and how third-party oversight ties in to IT security.

Rolke is a graduate of Oklahoma City University School of Law and has been practicing law in Oklahoma for the past 12 years. Prior to law school, she had a career in banking. She has worked with financial institutions—specifically, credit unions—for the past five years advising on regulatory compliance and general legal matters. She has conducted numerous compliance training seminars covering a multitude of regulatory and legal topics.

Rolke maintains a general law practice in Oklahoma City. Her areas of practice include compliance and regulatory affairs for the financial services industry, credit union and banking law, legislative affairs, corporate law, business law, contracts, business planning, employment law, and strategic planning, to name some.
