McWatters, Pryor to Join Cornerstone Delegation at Hike the Hill

Two prominent national voices will be joining Cornerstone credit union advocates at this year's Hike the Hill. National Credit Union Administration Chairman J. Mark McWatters and attorney Michael Pryor, a shareholder with Brownstein, Hyatt, Farber, and Schrek, will address attendees during a special meeting.

Tinker FCU Raises Money for CMN Through Car Show

Tinker Federal Credit Union recently hosted its 18th annual Miracle Car show to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The event raised $11,283 in donations and was also granted a $5,000 Miracle Match through CO-OP Miracle Match Financial Services. Overall, $16,283 was raised.

Every year an estimated 5 million older Americans are victims of elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation. And that’s only part of the picture. Experts believe that for every case of elder abuse or neglect reported, as many as 23 cases go unreported. Credit unions are in a unique position to detect such abuse when it occurs with their members.
