Longtime Credit Union Advocate Ada Williams Passes Away

Ada L. Williams, longtime member of the board of directors of Credit Union of Texas, passed away Dec. 27, 2017, at age 84. Williams began her service on what was then the Dallas Teachers Credit Union Board of Directors in February 1981. She was elected as chairman of the board in December 1996, a post she held until her death.

Muskogee FCU Partners with WISH for 25th Year

For 25 years, Muskogee Federal Credit Union has partnered with Women in Safe Homes (WISH) to provide gifts for children residing at the shelter on Christmas Day. And for 25 years, employees of the Muskogee, Okla.-based credit union have raised funds and collected donations. Special care is taken to ensure each child has his or her specially requested toys and the same number of gifts to unwrap.
