MCUEs: Total CU memberships hit 118.8M in December 2018

The credit union movement’s overall capital-to-asset ratio increased from 10.8 percent in November to 11.0 percent in December, according to CUNA’s Monthly Credit Union Estimates for December 2018. The total dollar amount of capital for credit unions increased 1.4 percent to $162.3 billion, and total credit union memberships grew 0.4 percent during December to 118.8 million.

Texas Credit Union Department meeting set for March 8

New Commissioner John J. Kolhoff will be sworn in at the March meeting of the Credit Union Commission. Kolhoff succeeds Harold Feeney, who retired in 2018. The meeting will be held at the Credit Union Department Building located at 914 East Anderson Lane in Austin at 9 a.m.
