Cornerstone YP scholarship recipients recount Texas GAC experiences

Cornerstone Credit Union League provided Government Relations Scholarships to three lucky young professionals for the 2019 Texas GAC in Austin, Feb. 20–21. The three winners were Melissa Burleson, business development coordinator for Tarrant County’s CU in Fort Worth; Kaycee Montoya, internet banking coordinator for Red River FCU in Texarkana; and Abram Rodriguez, marketing manager for Border FCU in Del Rio.

TTCU announces Sand Springs, Oklahoma branch

TTCU Federal Credit Union closed on land Feb. 27 to construct a new branch in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. The branch is tentatively slated to open in 2020.

WEOKIE Foundation awards $50,000 in college scholarships

On Saturday, March 16, the WEOKIE Foundation, a formal avenue of charitable giving for WEOKIE Credit Union in the Oklahoma City area, will award 25 graduating high school seniors a combined $50,000 in college scholarships. Each of the 25 recipients will receive a $2,000 scholarship for their continued college education. The winners were selected from more than 550 applications received.

WOCCU Colombia Project Surpasses Goal Early
