Larry Sabato; Kyle Kondik: The Early Line on the 2014 Midterms
Friday, March 22, 2013 4:30 AM

President Obama’s greatest setback to date has been the 2010 midterm elections, Larry Sabato co-writes in a March 18 Wall Street Journal article.

“Gains that Republicans scored in the House and Senate still circumscribe his agenda,” Sabato and co-writer Kyle Kondik tell Wall Street Journal readers.  “It is no surprise, then, that the Obama White House wants to achieve something no other president has ever done: Retake full control of Congress in a midterm.”

Sabato is a political scientist and analyst.  He is the founder of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, and has appeared on countless talk shows to offer insights, projections and entertaining commentary.

The Texas Credit Union League (TCUL) has confirmed that Sabato will address Texas Governmental Affairs & Member Meeting & Expo attendees in Austin. Sabato is the Texas signature dinner speaker April 2.  Signature dinner attendees should come prepared for a lively dinner presentation, as Sabato shares perspectives from his book “A More Perfect Constitution: Why the Constitution Must Be Revised: Ideas to Inspire a New Generation.”
